One of the reason they didn’t, according to game critics is because there were major problems with this game. I played this over a decade ago and have yet to see a single problem with this game.

As mysterious as he is, I wouldn't be surprised by his matured character, that he put even that on gamble...

Vorador is kind of Latin for “devourer”.

What is the actual problem with the Sarafan? OK they are very passionate about killing vampires but don’t vampires eat people? So if vampires kill people to eat won’t they naturally generate animosity against themselves, wouldn’t they expect some kind of retaliation? I’m really confused why the Sarafan are “le bad”, I don’t think the average Sarafan soldier knows they are working ultimately for the elder god (who is more obviously bad).

The new character appearing in the new graphic novel is probably The Priestess.

It just sucks that we were going to get a kain prequel game and there's even some videos of hour or two gameplay before they decided to cancel it it looked really amazing it breaks my heart let this game series doesn't get the love it truly deserves.

I'm a huge fan of Amy Hennig and her writing style. I think that Neil Cuckmann did her super dirty with TLoU2. So I have very little hope that these new authors will be able to do this new novel justice. The lady on the cover gives me DEI vibes as well, and makes me extra weary. I dunno, when it comes out, review it for us and let us know what you think.

I first learned about Dan through Playstation All Stars and loved how goofy his character was. I looked up fanart of him, how fans headcanon him and everything. I had just finished the og Medievil last month. So you can imagine how blindsided I was when finding out Dan was not the best person in those comics. It was an exact opposite of most playstation heroes so I had no idea how to really feel (his hair and fashion sense most certainly did not help matters). But it does serve well for his redemption, I wished the PS5 remake had given Dan more lines and emotes. Have him react to how Gallowmere gets over run, making him realize how dire the situation is. I honestly don't acknowledge the comic ending. It comes off as them essentially nuking the story so there's they don't feel the need to make a new one imo.

Let's be real honest with ourselves here: since Amy Hennig isn't involved, this graphic novel is cooked beyond belief. How the hell is any writer, let alone a MODERN day writer, supposed to capture even a crumb of the brilliant writing of the series? We may as well expect Blood Omen 2 2.0.

Still got my original ps1 copy from back in the day. Think i'll give the reverse engineered pc version a go soon though.

I think the best way to rebalance immolate would be to make it use health so any blood you get back would be ultimately much less. Like a 75% net loss, forcing you to use it only when it would be clutch.

Honestly I'm glad we didn't get this version. Soul Reaver 2 and Defiance were wonderful for me.

this story was so good that it should be a series, that's all that I have to say about it.

This game was so mind glowingly deep. Even today, the vocabulary used to express this story is amazing. The writing was 11/10. But I guess that's what happens when people create something from passion, and not greed. Its why most games today suck. No one says "How can we make a good game", instead its "How to we get ALL the money?".

A steam release of this would be amazing.
